I am not very satisfied with this product. First of all, the suction cup does not work. Second of all the sound quality is not very good. 'Regular' or more standard pickups will work certainly better, and I am going to buy one of those.

I was concerned when I read the reviews that the AXL Picup didn't hold when applied to an instrument. Hmmm haven't had that problem... I moisten the rubber cup, press it firmly flat and it stays and stays. The sound I get is clean and I've tried it direct into a Behringer mixer, a Danelectro mirco- mini amp and a floor amp. I'm pleased and going to purchase a couple more so that I can pack 'em separately with my instruments. For the price, I didn't expect the value I received. I'm pleased.

do not but this pickup. The sound seems ok I guess, but the suction cup does not work! I'm not sure how I can attach it to my ukulele, but as far as sticking it on the front with the suction cup, its impossible. It falls off after about 10 seconds.

the suction cup does not work. it looks like aged. it's very hard with room temp 70F. I removed the rubber suction cup and I have to use a big paper clipper to secure it on the sound hole edge. it picks up sound OK, but not great.

I bought this for my son who plays flamenco guitar. No need to modify guitar with holes. Put the suction cup on the back of the guitar if you want it out of the way. Plug it into an amp and it sounds great.
