This guitar set looked nice enough in person, but arrived broken. The top of the guitar had an obvious crack in the laquer and wood. The crack was about two inches long. I hate when things arrive already damaged. The external packaging had some damage so it might have occurred in transit. I am returning it for a refund.

I bought this for my kid to use in music class at school to learn to play guitar. The guitar itself sounds great. The bag is a little cheap and doesn't protect the guitar. The tuner is easy to use and helpful. I'm not sure if this is normal but I needed to tune this guitar weekly. It did get moved around and played. So, it may be normal to tune a guitar this often. I don't know. When it's in tune, it sounds great. Sound projection is amazing. My kid likes it, too.

This kit comes with a Yamaha guitar, a guitar strap, a tuner, 3 picks, a DVD, and a case. The Guitar itself is very well made and has a great sound. I also like the guitar case it comes with its not a hard case but it is still coveniant for a road trip. Although the tuner is realy cheap, it does not work very well, I actually broke a string using the tuner. I can't even figure out how to put the strap on. Lastly, the dvd is really bad quality. In my opinion you are better off buying just a guitar and a good guitar book, I recommend the book Guitar Method.

Bag seems to be good quality and the pockets seem adequate for storing books and accessories. I can't say anything bad about the bag itself. My deep bowl Applause seems lost in it, so maybe I should have ordered a different bag. What I do not like about this bag is the juvenile-styled logo on the pocket. Gosh, it is cheese-arific. Don't like it one bit. I'll be covering that with a piece of fabric or a patch very soon. Glad I can sew.

My parents bought this guitar bag for me. When i opened it up out of the plastic, it had an extremly strong SMELL. I thought it was perhaps a manufacturing smell and it would go away in a few days. I put my guitar in it and a few days later I took it out and then my guitar had the smell too. Now a few weeks have gone by and the smell is still on the bag.

I have been trying to air it out, using also dryer sheets, a baking soda odor absorber, and a renuzit odor absorber inside the case, and it still SMELLS. IT smells similar like a combination of MILDEW and MOLD and even a chemical in cat pee. I don't know if this is a fluke, but mine smells really bad.

I bought this a couple weeks ahead of my son's birthday. After he opened it on his birthday, he used it a total of three times, only to carry his guitar to a weekly music lesson, and the zipper started uncoiling from the seams. And now because I purchased it the couple weeks early, it fell just past the 30 day return. Very disappointed in the quality. Our son was careful with it and only used it those three times...it certainly should be more durable than that.

I am a beginner guitarist and own a dreadnaught size Yamaha FS730. I needed a gig bag just so I could carry the guitar to "jam" sessions with some of my friends who play. This bag is such a good deal and fits my guitar perfectly! The bag had good padding, a large zip pocket for my music sheets/booklets and a smaller pocket for my tuner and picks. There's a standard handle at the side, one near the upper back portion and also backpack style straps.



The music store that I bought my guitar from wanted $50 for their bag which has the store name on it. This one is very similar to it construction wise so I would definitely recommend this one for a $15 savings.

This guitar case is an incredible deal! First of all, it is a hard case, well-lined and well-built, so it just seems to be much more protective than those soft-sided, padded soft cases. Second, the price is unbelievable: With free shipping and the sale price, the true cost of this hard case is just a matter of a few dollars more than that of a far less protective, and frankly less attractive, soft case. In addition, this case is lockable (keys included), for even more security for your guitar. Finally, there is a separate large internal storage compartment resting under the the guitar storage area, for all your accessories. (The seller should highlight these additional selling points in the description of this item.) Your guitar deserves the best protection affordable, and this is it, in my opinion.

I ordered 2 of these cases, one electric and the other for a bass. They are the same case, just one is bigger. The latches don't ever seem quite closed, but they are secure. The handle doesn't feel secure either, but it's not failed. Biggest issue is QA. Mine came with tears and rips and the compartment box wasn't screwed in. You could see the screw, but it wasn't connected to the box. My wife didn't want to hassle with returns and since it technically still works, I didn't press it. The electric case is maybe a bit too universal and could use some added neck stability. I usually found my neck out of the groove and it was moving around inside the case. I guess for [...] bucks, it's a pretty good deal and it does protect your guitar, if it stays put.

I bought this for my 13 y/o son. He uses it to transport his Fender electric guitar to & from practices. His guitar fits perfectly with plenty of room for extras. The hinges & locks are study.Just right for what we needed it for. Very accurate description & pictures. Arrived earlier than promised in great condition. I will purchase from this seller again.
