 "It's alrite..." 2010-07-27
By S. Denman
When i bought this guitar and started to play, there was a japanese newpaper inside the soundhole. It took a while for me to get it out, but the guitar is certainly not in its best condition. It has allowed me to practice my songs on well, but very hard to tune.

 "Not so great." 2010-05-20
By Michael A. Pettit
My daughter bought this and it seemed good but then when she was taking lessons, it wouldn't stay in tune. They tuned it at the begining of the lesson and again at the end because it wouldn't stay in tune. Also it is extremely hard to tune. And she was just strumming it and the top string popped of and we can't get it back on. I wouldn't buy this even if the price is great. Save your money up to get a good guitar instead of a crappy one like this.

 "Horrible Guitar" 2010-03-15
By J. R. Bunch (Pasco, WA USA)
In my opinion, the pink guitar is a POS, worst product I've ever bought on Amazon. The guitar when received, had so many flaws, was embarrassed to give it to granddaughter for a birthday gift.

Seller e-mail asking to remove negative feedback for a refund. My opinion is to stay away from this guitar.

 "Great Strap!" 2010-07-27
By Lloyd Pounds (BOISE, IDAHO, US)
With this strap the you will certainly feel like your instrument is secure. The only issue I had was that I had to trim the leather and work it heavily to make it pliable enough to easily go over my guitar strap mount. That said this is a great looking and comfortable fitting product (even if it is made by cowardly Canadians :p ).

 "hoot strap review" 2010-06-12
By Joel J. Claunch (Kingman,AZ USA)
This strap is killer. It's well made, the holes are tight on the guitar's pins, it looks cool, and the backside is black, making it 99% reversable. It's also a good length. It's not for Slash, but I'm 6'2" and it hangs to my beltline easily on both sides. I think it's a good deal and I'm glad I bought it.---Joel.

 "Sturdy and beautiful." 2009-01-10
By Rachel Himes (Indiana, Pennsylvania USA)
There's not a whole lot one can say about a guitar strap, but I'll try. This one is sturdy and adjusts more easily than some I've tried. It's fairy thick and the material doesn't slip around on your shoulder easily. Aesthetically, the woven print is abslutely beautiful. The photo cannot do it justice. The colors and rich and vibrant and the weave is tight, not chintzy or frayed. I'm very pleased with the product and the price.

 "Solid Acoustic Guitar Stand" 2010-06-24
By Paul Thomas (Boston)
This is a sturdy stand, with the usual trade off of weight versus stability. It folds up flat, but JUST fits into a standard back pack. For the acoustic-electric crowd, the clearance of the bottom of the guitar is such that you'll need a right-angle plug if you want to leave it plugged in at gigs.

You can adjust the stand to be wider or narrower, but I haven't needed or tried that feature.

I'm pleased. It's my first stand, although I've played the guitar for 40 plus years. About time!

 "Decent Stand" 2010-05-06
By J. Christopher
I originally bought this stand for my acoustic guitar and it worked marvelously. After I got a guitar case, I started using it for my cello... again, it worked beautifully. It's sturdy, well-made, and nicely sized (it was easy to fit into my dorm room). It's well-worth the price.

"Even better than I had hoped for!" 2010-04-27
By A. C. Brown
I was looking for a stand that was collapsible so that I could carry it with me to cello class...I was tired of my instrument getting knocked over and bumped into. But I also wanted it to be sturdy enough to withstand being repeatedly used and taken down. Being attractive and unobtrusive were also on the list. I got everything I wanted with this stand. It holds my cello securely and I love being able to carry it with me to class and not having to lay my cello down in the path of destruction. Definitely more than worth the price!K & M Heli Multi-Purpose Instrument Stand

"Easy to use and looks good, too" 2010-08-04
By aliensis (Albany, NY)
I wanted to put a strap on a borrowed guitar to avoid accidents. Since I did not want to alter the neck, I decided to try this. It was very easy to install, and looks neater than laces. I think it's also safer than knots, and can be removed easily if need be. It doesn't interfere with my hand, and I can still leave the strap on when I put the guitar in its case. Just what I needed.

I own a couple of vintage guitars (1972 Gibson Dove and a 1988 Martin D-35)and am very careful about straps, I did not want to install a button and drill through the wood. I found this quick release system wonderful and feel secure using it.

Its simple to use very inexpensive and has lasted over a two year period of constant use.

Highly recommend.

By the way I have not had a problem with strap slipping from my shoulder.

 "Awesome Item" 2010-07-20
By Josh Hardin (BAKERSFIELD, CA, US)
I've never tried anything like this before, but decided hey why not... for the price this seems like it would be worth it. My item arrived within 2 days and I couldn't wait to try it out. Upon using it i was extremely satisfied with the result. The sound was nice and clear and didn't pick up any outside noise. I highly recommend this product for which I used in my ukulele.

 "Brilliant" 2010-05-18
By James Cormack (Indianapolis)
Came home in a couple days, I mounted it internally in my cheap knockaround Mandolin and the sound quality is great. I even had some fun with it before hand, put it on a snare drum and ran it through some delay effects and it sounded incredible, put it on a djembe and on a harmonica and it still sounded good. I can see me buying a few more of these. As someone else said the instructions are poor, but if you know what your doing its ok. I would not recommend mounting it on the outside of an instrument, the pickup is so strong it even picks up on the wire so if you brush it with your sleeve or anything it will sound bad. I set it on my mandolin by carefully picking a spot and drilled with a 5/16 wood bit, then I reached in holding the jack and wire with one finger and held it near the hole and I guided from outside with a fine handle of a small paintbrush then pushed through, put the washer and nut on outside and tighten hard. Then I placed the transducer inside the bottom curl of the mandolin cutout hole and pressed hard up inside. Switched on amp and plucked and it sounded great. I am playin it on a Line8 Spider II with effects and it is so much fun!!

"Works Great, cheaper than buying an electric uke" 2009-12-03
By K. Medeiros (Kalaheo, HI USA)
My son was looking at buying a $350 electric uke. He already has 5 ukuleles. I told him to get one of his older ukes and try this out. My husband was wary about drilling a hole. Don't drill in the bottom center, there's a block in there, drill at the bottom side or back. The bottom worked out better.

We tried it out before attaching anything. There really isn't any instructions and what instructions there is, well you can tell it wasn't made in the US.

My son loves it and the sound is excellent. I'm so happy because it saved us from buying an electric uke!

"You Need Not Fear the Low Price" 2009-09-25
By Charles Rogers (Boulder Creek, CA USA)
I asked at a well known and respected guitar shop in the San Francisco area about installing a pickup in my Pono tenor ukulele which is very nice except that it projects sound back to the player poorly. The shop wanted to put in a similar style (stick on, unamplified piezo soundboard transducer) Fishman pickup for $175. That seemed unreasonable for a $300 instrument. So I found this pickup, read the one review, and figured I'd get it and try it out. Worst case if I didn't like it, I could just pull it out and have the Fishman installed and use this transducer on other instruments in emergencies. Well, it was easy to install and the ukulele sounds great when plugged into our Roland AC-90 acoustic amp. I don't feel like I'm missing anything except the brand name recognition. Try it. I bet you'll like it too.

 "Great for the Money!!!" 2010-04-08
By Bubbles-Desmo (Bay Area, CA)
This is a review from an amateur and beginner. I've played a few guitars ranging in price from 100 to 2000 bucks. For the most part to me it's like wine, I can tell the difference between huge voids/gaps, say between a $100 and $500 and say $500 to 1000, but not much more in detail.

This guitar actually plays like a $200 guitar which is close to it's retail price. I bought this for $59 shipped from music123 and for that price it's an absolute steal. for $200 it would be a 4 star guitar, but for $59 bucks I wish i could give it 6 stars.

From a looks perspective, it looks very nice. It's very shiney, and I can shave using it as a mirror if required. The seams and glue is pretty good and comparable to more expensive guitars.

Overall the guitar plays well for me as it's pretty small and not to bulky. The neck is done well too. The strings that come with it appear decent, but I think upgrading them would help a bit. The base isn't the best compared to others I've played but it's decent.

If you can find it for under $100 shipped, it's a good deal!

 "Just about Ok" 2010-02-12
By Addsmiles... (USA)
I am not a guitar pro, but have had 3-4 guitars previously and found this one pretty difficult to play. The strings were placed way too high off the fretboard and had to press really hard to get a decent enough sound.

After making a few innovative adjustments, I have been able to play it to produce sound which is decent enough and I have been living with it. However as compared to the sound from some other guitars (a little costlier than this one) it sounds a little dull.

Given all the good reviews we have for this guitar, I am not sure if my piece had some problems. But I realized, to purchase things like a gutar, it is always better to go to the shop, play the guitar and purchase the one which sounds good and you feel comfortable with. You might end up paying maybe an extra 10-20 bucks, but you will not have second thoughts about your purchase.

By Theodore Kroll (Mo, USA)
I've had this guitar for a few months now and love it!! I liked it sooo much that I took it to a Guitar shop and ask if they would let me compare it to an expensive guitar. I did and they did to, the only thing they said was that it could use a small adjustment in the action for it to play like an expensive guitar. I didn't notice the difference until I got it back, Wow! What a difference a $25 tweeking can do. I thought it was great the way it was. They admitted that even an expensive instrument may also need the same adjustments when fitting the users preferences.

I love my guitar!
