Hooked it up, plugged it in, got a background buzz that was very noticeable which makes it all but unusable. The seller tells me they dont accept returns on open items.. duh! I wont make that mistake again. Thanks for nothing.

Easy to use. No metallic hiss you'd normally expect. The only real drawback is the lack of presence when it comes to the bassier strings. It takes some skill to EQ things to the point of normalcy. If you're uncomfortable dealing with EQ, this might not be your best bet. Otherwise, a wonderful product at a great price.

This gadget is one of the best I've tried so far. It's a little cheaper than the Dean-Markely-Strings-ProMag-Grand but it's sound quality is comparable. Also, to my surprise it's made in California, USA and comes with a cute drawstring pouch. I got used to buy China made product here in the US. Let's support US made products!!!!

I was really amazed at the quality sound that came from this product. I've been using it on my 12-string Seagull so that I can have a different sound when playing in church. I am very pleased with this pickup and higly recommend it to anyone seeking a great sound from their guitar, especially their 12 string!

Great pickup, really preserves the sound of the guitar, virtually no feedback, or buzzing, the only drawback is with direct recording, it doesn't get picked up very much by the interface, but if you're recording with a mic, there shouldn't be a problem. I've performed twice with this pickup without any problems, its worth the money, I've seen/heard much more expensive pickups that don't sound or respond half as well as this one.
