This is a review from an amateur and beginner. I've played a few guitars ranging in price from 100 to 2000 bucks. For the most part to me it's like wine, I can tell the difference between huge voids/gaps, say between a $100 and $500 and say $500 to 1000, but not much more in detail.
This guitar actually plays like a $200 guitar which is close to it's retail price. I bought this for $59 shipped from music123 and for that price it's an absolute steal. for $200 it would be a 4 star guitar, but for $59 bucks I wish i could give it 6 stars.
From a looks perspective, it looks very nice. It's very shiney, and I can shave using it as a mirror if required. The seams and glue is pretty good and comparable to more expensive guitars.
Overall the guitar plays well for me as it's pretty small and not to bulky. The neck is done well too. The strings that come with it appear decent, but I think upgrading them would help a bit. The base isn't the best compared to others I've played but it's decent.
If you can find it for under $100 shipped, it's a good deal!

I am not a guitar pro, but have had 3-4 guitars previously and found this one pretty difficult to play. The strings were placed way too high off the fretboard and had to press really hard to get a decent enough sound.
After making a few innovative adjustments, I have been able to play it to produce sound which is decent enough and I have been living with it. However as compared to the sound from some other guitars (a little costlier than this one) it sounds a little dull.
Given all the good reviews we have for this guitar, I am not sure if my piece had some problems. But I realized, to purchase things like a gutar, it is always better to go to the shop, play the guitar and purchase the one which sounds good and you feel comfortable with. You might end up paying maybe an extra 10-20 bucks, but you will not have second thoughts about your purchase.

I've had this guitar for a few months now and love it!! I liked it sooo much that I took it to a Guitar shop and ask if they would let me compare it to an expensive guitar. I did and they did to, the only thing they said was that it could use a small adjustment in the action for it to play like an expensive guitar. I didn't notice the difference until I got it back, Wow! What a difference a $25 tweeking can do. I thought it was great the way it was. They admitted that even an expensive instrument may also need the same adjustments when fitting the users preferences.
I love my guitar!

I've had this guitar for over 3 years. I've taken it everywhere with me. It still plays beautifully. Definitely the best guitar you will get for this price.
